Tony received his bachelor’s degree in Physics from the College of Charleston in 1991 and his Master of Science in Applied Physics from Appalachian State University in 1994. After working for the government and enterprise sector for a decade as a computer analyst, he founded Bell Digital Media (), where he has been producing commercial, promotional, corporate, and artistic videos in the Greater Charleston area for many years. For a decade, Tony taught the physics of photography and an array of media production courses at the Art Institute of Charleston and a five-year stint at the College of Charleston teaching a graduate-level media course, Arts and Technology.
Tony is active in the Charleston community and is a principal member of the Charleston Jazz Initiative and serves as president of the Avery Institute Executive Board and is a member of the South Carolina Black Film Collective. Tony is also a proud veteran of the United States Army and presently makes his home in downtown Charleston.
